Match report Won the toss and decided to bowl.

Shazad and Ashiq started off very loose, which gave a little momentum to the homeside.

Ashiq brought a breakthrough, whilst Shazad remained wicketless in his opening spell.

Home side were contained to 48 runs in 10 overs.

Tusharr and Jeff were given the ball, on a slow and sticky deck. Tusharr took 2 very quick wickets, assisted by Jay and Abbas.. in the field.

Vipul started off very contained, and we had the Hosts pegged at 84 runs, in the drinks interval.

However we in the next 10 overs, we let off the gas and leaked 82 runs.. we did take wickets but we leaked way more runs than we should have which allowed the Hosts to reach the 176 total..

*BATTING*

We started off with Mashooq and Aryan.. in the first over we collected 9 runs. And then Mashooq took on the hosts, depositing a huge 6, and a 4. We were going really well, until Aryan got caught.

Jayraj, still not finding his rhythm, fell victim to a top edge, then Mashooq followed shortly after.

In the crease were Tusharr and Vimal, and immediately Tusharr took on the bowling, playing free flow.. and exerting pressure, whilst Vimal, rotated the strike.

Their partnership of 59, dented the opposition.. Vimal fell to a ball that cut the carpet. And Tusharr, followed a few runs later. Jeff occupied the crease, started very quietly.. but then began to take on the bowlers.

Jeff played an excellent innings, done all the hardwork...but couldnt see it home. Leaving his side needing 3 runs, from 2 wickets.. off 10 odd overs.

Unfortunately the captain, Ashiq was at the crease, and it seemed like a walk in the park.. 2 runs needed.. but Ashiq succumbed to the pressure, and went into a shell.. and thus lost his wicket. Shazad was in as the last wicket.

Hosts needed one wicket, and we needed 2 runs. Bad umpiring, sealed our fate with an absolute shocker of a decision LBW.

Unfortunately no man of the match, but had we won the game it would have been:
