Match report Won the toss and decided to bat.

Batting

Mashooq and Sagar opened the innings. Mashooq departed shortly after. Jay joined Sagar at the crease and began to formulate a partnership. Jay fell after scoring 20 odd runs. Tusharr went in and couldnt get going at all, and came back quickly.
Meanwhile Sagar had began to counter attack the bowlers, playing some lovely strokes. He looked to go big, but the pop in the wicket took him by surprise
Aryan joined Sagar and began to find his feet.. the moment he was beginning to look good he also returned to the dugout. Shail, went in and couldnt really find his reach.
This left Abbas and Jeff at the crease.. Abbas seemed like he was batting in a shell, departed with a loose shot. Raza also, just couldnt get going after facing 10 balls. Last 4 overs, Jeff and Ashiq decided to play out the 40 overs, and Jeff with his first game back scored 52*.

We managed to crawl to a total of 183.

Bowling

Shazad and Ashiq opened, and we got our first break through on the 4th over, and then shazad joined the action. In the Power play we had the home side pinned at 29 for 2.

Unfortunately, from there on we had a huge lapse in the bowling. Upto the 20th over. It was just not the bowling Badshahs are known for. And we let a crucial partnership build up. Nonetheless, we managed to take 5 wickets.. but Jeff and Tusharr going wicketless, was a big factor. These 2 are our formidable spin duo.

Sagar had an awesome time with the gloves, taking 2 great catches behind the stumps.

Summary

Although we did not get the result we wanted. There were some positives to focus on.

Sagar and Jeff with the bat. Aryan looked like he was eyeing up some runs also.

However we must quickly adapt to the conditions we play on as a Unit. Our batting didnt deliver in the important phase of the game. Our Bowling also failed to deliver in the important phase of the game.

We will do what is required to ensure that this is not repeated.

Winning and losing is a part of the game, however the fighter spirits need to be present nonetheles
