Match report Won the Toss and decided to bat

Started with Mashooq and Jay. It was a very composed start, but Jay was back in the hut very shortly without troubling the scoreboard much. Mashooq followed after a couple of shots. Sagar, also departed after a very short stint.

Tusharr and Shail were left at the crease, to build some sort of momentum, and they did just that. They took in the bowlers, and rotated the strike beautifully. Their partnership silenced the Visitors. Tusharr went big, he scored an amazing century, playing exquisite drives. Shail on the other side played an equally remarkable innings, and it was long due. Their partnership ended at around 180 runs.
Tusharr, fell victim to a run out, which allowed Abbas to go in, with 6 overs to go. Abbas played a great cameo, but was adjudicated LBW.

Momentum was set, but we did not get the acceleration required in the last 5 overs.. to further boost the score.

Visitors were set a target of 256.

BOWLING

Ashiq and Shazad started the attack.

First 2 overs were a little loose, but then Ashiq took out their main Bat, Adam which was assisted by Sagar... an amazing catch to say the least.

We had the visitors contained, and they were struggling to get going. But then we began fielding sloppy, letting singles go through our hands, and a few misfields. We missed out an atleast 3 Run Out opportunities. And we dropped crucial catches. The bowling began to deteriorate.
We just did not remain disciplined enough to bowl to our field.

The Visitors required 38 runs in the last 4 Overs. On the 37th Over, we let the game go, by conceding 17 runs this was the match turning point. And from there the pendalum swung back in the Visitors side.

We should have never allowed the Visitors to chase this score down. Our fielding overall let us down at crucial moments. Subsequently the bowling was shambles.

Nonetheless a few positives also. Shail looking in great touch, and Tusharr's brilliant century.

No M.O.M award, because we lost the battle.

We need to rectify our bowling and fielding very quickly, and get back to our best. We as Bowlers cant depend on others, we have to bowl better, and force the batsman to play in areas where we have set the field.
