Match report Lost the toss and were put to bat.

Mashooq and Sardar opened the batting, to add some pressure on the Home Side. Mashooq began to find his feet, and deposited the ball over the boundary line for a 6 on a couple of occasions, looking extremely dangerous.
However, he eventually held out to Mid On. Sardar shortly followed, he couldn't get going.
Jayraj, also had a very short stint at the crease, and was held at Mid Off.

Vimal and Tusharr occupied the crease, and played some exquisite shots to the boundary, building a very dangerous partnership of 50 plus. The home side were stunned, and literally had no answers. Tusharr got struck in the crease, and was adjudicated Leg Before. Whilst Vimal on the other hand continued to exert maximus pressure. Jeff, looking like he is in great nick, played a very good hand, but eventually succumbed to poor footwork. Vipul joined his brother for a very short stint, and missing the straight one.

Shail joined Vimal in the crease to help steer the innings towards the 40 over mark. Vimal departed shortly after.

We were all bowled out for 185 within 36 overs. If we had played the full 40 overs, we may have reached or surpassed 200.

BOWLING

Shazad and Ashiq opened the bowling. Going wicket less in the first 5 Overs, but at the same time keeping the runs. Until Ashiq broke through their defense, and teamed with Jayraj dismissed their first opener. And then Shazad followed suit from the other side, and once again Jayraj holding onto a great catch in the slips. Ashiq then dismissed 2 more in the next over. Grinding the charge to a halt by the batting side.

First change came in, and it was an absolute disaster, to say the least. Powerplay finished and the home side were 26 for 4 in the first 10 overs. The first change leaked 40 plus runs in the next 4 overs, which shifted the momentum back to the Home Side. A nightmare Partnership began to form, and we were under the hammer. Drinks break came and we had a moment to compose ourself.

Shazad was brought in on the 23rd Over to create a breakthrough, and on his final Over, in partnership with Tusharr, he dismissed the set batsman. And then in the following over, Tusharr assisted in a crucial Run Out that took out the other set batsman.

And then Vipul struck, in partnership with Ashiq, and then Raza struck and took another wicket on the following over. Badshahs, gained the momentum and now the fate of the Home side was set. Raza followed it with a thundeorus Run Out. And then rattling the stumps of the last man.

Overall it was a convincing win, but our mental and physical strength was tested now doubt, but this time we stood up.
