Match report *MATCH REPORT*

Lost the Toss and were put to bowl.

Started extremely well.

We had the opposition under our thumb. Mashooq and Shazad, really had put them under alot of pressure.

However a partnership developed with the 4th wicket partnership, of a 100 plus runs.

But during that phase, we fielded absolutely pathetically. Catches went down, boundaries went through the legs. It was horrific to watch.

Anyhow, we had them pegged at 162 for 3 after 32 overs.

But then we just bowled ridiculously, brainless to say the least.

The home team scored 115 runs in the last 8 overs.

*Batting*

We lost 4 wickets early, and the first noteable partnership came from Abbas and Mukhi, of just over 50 runs. Abbas got set, and began to tear them apart, and then brainless.. went for one too many.. threw his wicket away. Shail, done the same got in, played some well timed strokes, and then went cross the line... to a full straight one.. brainless. Jeff also, got set and then threw his wicket away.

Mukhi was the highlight 50*.

The rest of our hitters, failed to trouble the scoreboard. We lost 5 wickets for 15 runs at the end.

Poor fielding and poor death bowling, gave the Home team an easy headstart.

Batting

We as a unit need to score runs, we are not there to throw our wickets away for free. Get your eye in and play your shots.

I would like to see a big improvement from the tail lower middle order. You guys had the time, to set in and launch. Dent the opposition atleast.
