Match report We lost the toss and put to field

Ehtesham and Goher opened the bowling, and started off with a very controlled first 4 overs. Then they began to lose their discipline and started to leak runs.

First change was Sardar and Azad. Sardar bowled very well whereas Azad couldnt contain the batsmen below 7 runs per over. To be fair this was a day for batting.

A run out whilst the batsmen was short by about 2 metres, was not given by the Home Teams leg umpire. Infact the Umpiring from the neutral individual had much left to be desired.

Talha with the gloves was very poor. Dropping atleast 4 regulation catches and leaking more than 20 byes. Giving the Home batsmen a chance one too many. He was dropped by Koshal at point when he was on 80 runs whilst Ashiq come on to bowl. This young Faisal, it was his day. He had the assistance of the hesitation of the neutral umpire when he was caught plum infront consecutively.

As a team we must have misfielded 20 boundaries. It was a very very bad day in the field, the worse since the club has been established.

We were left to chase 326 to win.

Jayraj opened the innings and took a few balls to get in before he unleashed against Akeel Khan. But he let the emotions get the better of him and Akeel had the final laugh.

Koshal departed, Raja departed, Sannan walked in. But unfortuunately no one stood with him. Until Sardar went in at 7th and showed a little flare. But this was a little too late.

The positives was Sannan bowled brilliant and batted brilliantly.

Badshahs are now regrouping. 11 games have passed and the results dont truly reflect the talent we possess.

They need to quickly adapt the winning attitude. Find that little ray of light and begin to dig at it.
