Match report *MATCH REPORT*

Hosts won the toss and decided to bat first

Shazad and Myself opened the bowling.
Shazad got an early breakthrough well caught by Rahul down the leg.

We finished the power play with the hosts only scoring 20 runs for 3 wkts.

We took wickets occasionally. But then we began dropping dolly catches atleast 8 to 9 catched went down.

Which allowed the hosts who were 52 for 6/7 in 20 overs to finish on 173.

Shazad finished with amazing figures. Although the rest of us were let down by awful fielding once again.
*Its just not acceptable anymore boys*.

*BATTING*

We lost Mashooq and Jay very early, Abbas and Shail steadied the ship. Abbas as i have asked many of you, to play your organic game, began to cut loose.. and played some lovely shots, with Shail on the other end..

However after Abbas got out we had a dreaded collapse, Rahul, Jeff, following Abbas back to the dug out.

Little partnership formed between Mukhi, who suffered a split in the webbing. But shortly after Mukhi came back to the dugout, sardar went in and played too many strokes against the wind.

The next significant partnership which paved the way for Badshahs to have any hope of taking the game, was Kamy and Shail partnership..

MOM Shail Patel for his perserverance. Could have finished the game, needing 1 run to win, but he had done enough.

*SUMMARY*

We dropped catches again.

And we lost 5 wkts which were cheap.

This gave the opposition the opportunity and they took it.

We need to work on this as a team as a Unit.
