Won the toss and chose to bowl


Shazad and myself opened the bowling.

On the 3rd over shazad got us the breakthrough, whilst there was alot of glove work from my end, but to their fortune nothing carried.

Shazad bowled an excellent opening spell.
Majority of the runs in the powerplay came from the batsman edge.

However no respite to the visitors, as the senior bowler Qaisar Mehmood and Kamran C, pinned the batsman down even further.
Giving absolutely nothing away.

By this time the visitors were 4 down, and we're struggling to find runs..

In came the young speedster Raza, rattling the helmets of the batsman, and absolutely shaking them up.

Raza finished with 4 wkts. Amazing spell.

Oh and we got a run out today, courtesy of @⁨Shazad Lefty Current⁩.

*Batting*

Jay started off as he usually does, but wickets began to fall on the other end, this did not deter Jay, who was at the crease with @⁨Quilbe⁩.
A quick 30 runs, and then missed a straight one.

However Quilbe followed him, immediately after.
At this point we just needed a partnership of 40 plus runs to kill the game.

@⁨Mukhi⁩ was sent in, and given clear instructions just to play his shots, and build a partnership with Shail.
And the young gun put his head down and did just that, playing in a very dominating fashion.

37 runs 6 x 4's 1 x 6 and slipped 5 times. Get some proper batting spikes!!.

Him and Shail literally fell with a run apart between them. 13 runs to get..
@⁨Raza Shah⁩ and @⁨+44 7376 113541⁩ brought the game home.

M.O.M @⁨Raza Shah⁩ 4 wickets and @⁨Mukhi⁩ for his 37 runs. Joint today.

But overall it was a great team performance.

@⁨Raza Shah⁩ took an amazing catch today, and me and Abbas dropped one each at silly mid on and short cover.
