Match report Lost the toss and were put into field.

So this time round we decided to go all at the opposition. As we have been somewhat very defensive.

Ashiq and Kashi opened the bowling in the perfect tempo, although Kashi leaked more than 6 runs in his first over, he came back on his second over. In an effect this was not really Kashi's fault as one side the boundary is really short, and the out field is equally unforgiving to the Bowlers.

Anyway Sardar and Vipul carried the momentum this time and both bowled awesome spells, and had the Visitors locked down to 80 runs in 20 overs. After the 20th Over and once the Ball had been lost and changed, things to a turn for the worst. However we managed to tame the opposition to 220.

Jay and Pintoo opened the batting, Jay effortlessly smashed the first 3 balls to the fence and then dismissed the last ball of the first over for a 6. Jay lost his stumps in the 3rd Over. Abbas Shah(C) was then sent in to replace Jay. Soon after Pintoo P, departed.. one too many swings. Vipul was sent in to soak up the balls and pressure, and he did this nicely as Abbas was at the other side finding his form. Vipul once again was caught LBW walking across his stumps.

We felt it was the right time to throw a Lefty into the mix. Shail was summoned in, and he looked to build a solid partnership with his Captain. But he was surprised by a straight delivery and walked back to the hut. So we deployed another lefty into the mix, young gun Sannan to support his Captain. Did he do that well. And in no time Abbas began to flow with runs, before we know it he was touching Half Century.

Sannan at the other side, kept grafting hard to ease off the pressure on his captain by rotating the strike frequently. And then in 32nd Over Abbas strikes a single to complete his Maiden Century this season. And it couldnt have come at a better time than this. Sannan although the scoresheet doesnt highlight his Magnificent Performance, we the Badshahs know that without the support of Shail Sannan and Vipul, Abbas would not have been playing so freely.

Big shout out goes to Ali Humza who had the gloves for the first time in many years and done an awesome job. An excellent addition to the Badshahs Family, extra effort will be made to ensure his skills are developed further.
