Watford Badshahs Cricket Club Lost

Match report Badshahs won the Toss and elected to field.

Started off great with the ball, had the team 90 for 5. But then we let them off the hook. Four balls got lost, due to the bowlers getting greedy for wickets. They lost their line and length. And then it was also complimented with horrendous fielding, boundaries being leaked through the legs. More than 5 catches were dropped, and each batsman that was dropped ended up scoring 50 plus runs.

We were left chasing 276 at the end.

Koshal and Jay started hammering the oppposition, and killed their fielding sides hope of winning the game, a great 105 run partnership in 6 overs.

Unfortunately we were once again bitten by the Collapse bug. We lost 3 wickets in each batch. Abbas and Bilal fought hard to bring the game back, which they were doing so well. But Bilal alongside Shail and Jeff were the victims of a Hat Trick, to a Bowler who was bowling Half Volleys.

Middle order once again is letting the Badshahs down. All credit to the HW PCC bowler Nabeel, 7 for 30 our batsman were not good enough against him.

( There were more than 4 decisions that went against us, the Umpire himself was from High Wycombe, he gave an LBW decision against whilst our batsman danced down the crease by 2.5 metres. He failed to see a clear ball hitting the glove of the batsman whilst we were bowling and also turned down atleast 4 LBW decisions which were hitting the base of middle stump )
