Match report Badshahs lost the toss and were put into bat.

On a very dodgy looking wicket, we were tasked to bat first. We knew there will be uneven bounce and the wicket will be slow. So we planned accordingly.

Jay and Rasheed were sent to open the innings for Badshahs. Jay didnt take too long to show his presence in the crease by smashing a huge 6 over mid on. But couldnt keep going, and fell to a mistimed stroke to one of his favourite shots.

Rasheed remained in the crease, although he looked really edgy. Asif was sent into aid him at the other end, but couldnt stay at the crease long enough after hitting one straight down long off.

Both Abbas' were at the crease now, and the captain quickly began rotating the strike to try and bring some composure to the innings. Building a solid partnership of 57 runs before falling in the death overs.

Jeff was then in with Rasheed, and he also aided Rasheed with a solid cameo and built a partnership of 41 runs, before being stumped. Ashiq was sent in with one over remaining to hit Badshahs to a better total but failed. Sardar walked into the crease but was run out without facing a ball.

Shail was sent in with 3 balls remaining and played a blinder of an innings for his team, hitting 12 runs off the last 3 ball, including a huge six down the ground.

Bowling had a really poor start for our bowlers, Kashi and Ashi just couldnt get their lengths right and leaked 32 runs in the first 3 overs. The captain was forced to introduce spin early with Vipul tasked to control the home side at the other end. And they done a fabulous job for their team and captain. Between them they took 5 wickets for 42 runs in 8 overs. Brought the game back for their team. And Rasheed was introduced and bowled really well with Sardar attacking from the end.

Kashi had a great comeback and constrained the home team for runs which forced errors, and was supported by Vipul who came into finish his final spell.

Home team were left needing 19 runs off the last over, their innings concluded after Jay threw in the ball from Mid off and Kashi removing the bails.
