Match report Badshahs CC won the toss and elected to bat

The weather has been gradually getting warmer. And thus it was a great day to be out on the field. But constant rain during the week was always going to play a huge role.

Jay and Raza started the innings, trying to apply themselves at the creases but this was shortlived as Raza fished one outside his off stump. Then Shail was sent in to rebuild the innings, hoping that the right and left combo will challenge the bowling; which it did. Until Shail tried to heave a huge one to the moon, but end up being comprehensively bowled.

Jay was then joined by Asif who looked promising and was playing his shots covering all angles. After building a solid partnership of more than 50 runs, Asif lost his composure and chipped it to the square leg.

Jay was then joined by Jeff, and after a few deliveries Jeff also said farewell to Jay by stepping back to a full delivery and getting comprehensively bowled.

Abbas also joined Jay and not long after threw his bat at the ball and was caught at mid on. Sardar also throwing his wicket away, which brought the emergence of Hameed. But shortly after that Jay just couldnt stay composed enough and left Hameed at the creases.

Ashiq and Hameed started to build a great innings with some solid drives from Hameed. A much needed partnership of 50 plus saw the Badshahs CC exceed 150. Ashiq then threw his wicket away followed by Kashi who had a short stay, Hameed getting beaten by a roller, closed the innings to 157.

Bowling started poorly with wides from both ends, and the game looked to drift to PCC. But then we got a breakthrough by a Kashi and Vipul followed it up. And then Kashi regularly taking wickets,whilst the fielding tightened up and boundaries were becoming a rare jewel for PCC. Jeff was introduced into the attack and made his mark, removing quick couple of wickets. Badshahs were now in the driving seat. Vipul was holding up one end with the economy rate whilst Kashi and destroyed the PCC line up at the other. Between themselves taking 9 wickets. Leaving PCC kicking the wicket all out for 128.

Awesome bowling from 3 individuals, Vipul on his debut proved economical whilst Kashi and Jeff bagged the wickets.

MOM goes to Kashi 5 for 42.
