Match report The weather was bright and hot, perfect conditions for cricket, but unfortunately the ground which had been chosen to play this fixture, has never been batsmen friendly.
Winning the toss, we decided to bat first. As chasing on this grounds we knew is a difficult task.
We lost our captain again and so cheaply, but it is not his fault, the wicket has a mind of its own. Then we just lost another by means of a run out. Everything began to look shaky and unsteady, scoring over 50 runs in 40 overs looked impossible. Until we had a few batsman standing in the crease for a little while, which helped bump the score a little. It was Mo's debut match long awaited game for him, he played well along with Jeff and Hameed.

We eventually managed to bat 28 overs, and posted a total of 151/10. Which gave us a fighting chance. When the Knight Riders came out to bat, i had a feeling they were not going to try and defend their way to 152, and there will shots played. So Mashooq and Rehman were given the new ball. And quickly boundaries were being scored, Noman got off to a flying start, Mashooq then removed him which was a great sign of relief.

In Came Wajahat, who just off 9 balls scored 21 hitting 3 sixes consecutively, after being dropped off an inside edge by our Keeper. He received gifts, in a way of full toss on the legside.

There were 72/2 after 10 overs and looked pretty dominant.

Then Jeff happened, and on the other side Sardar.. boy did they bowl a match winning innings, truly the club owes them.

Between them they bowled 10.1 overs and conceded 34 runs, and dismissed 8 wickets.

Jeff 5 overs 4/11 and Sardar 5.1 overs 4/23. Absolute thriller. Knight riders barely just passed the 100 mark. These 2 guys were in complete control of the match.

It was an awesome win just what we needed.
