Match report On a really wet wicket we lost the toss and put to bat first. Momentum started a bit late but we managed to get going. Losing our captain early in the beginnings we began scratching our heads. Whilst Hameed heald his ground and rotating the strike. Outfield was wet and spongy, and chances of driving something to the boundary were slim to none.
Batting highlights were Shail and Gully's partnership of 45, and Danny and Hameeds of 41.
Rehman with his usual self, sparking the fire with his boundary hitting magic.

After putting up a respectable total helped by the 54 extras (47wd), a win in the bag was comfortable.

Our opening bowlers, restricted their runs, after 8 overs they were 13/1. But this changed when the first change and second change were given the instructions to further add the pressure.

Overall leaving the last over and 12 runs to win for the Reading team. Ashiq was given the deadly over to defend 12 runs. First 2 balls were hit straight in the fielders hand and were put down, and then the next ball the batting team acquired 3 runs. Then the unimaginable happened, the batsman that got put down hit the half volley for a 6. And leaving only 2 runs to get.

Reading Stars chased the total with 2 wickets in hand.

We lost the match due to horrendous fielding.
