Match report Amazing weather was set for a game of cricket, one couldnt ask for better battig conditions. We lost the toss, and were out to Bowl. And we accepted this gracefully. Kashif and Ashiq opened the bowling, with some mind bending swing bowling, exploiting the wicket to it's full potential. By the fourth over they were 8 for 2. The pace and the bonce was too much for the batsmen to deal with, as there were devastating blows to the shoulders and the mid region. And then the captain decided to bring in Jeff, to take the pace off the ball, and further exploit the wicket. He ended up 15 for 3. And the target was set 100 runs to win in 40 overs. We decided to step out on the crease, and lost 2 early wickets. Danny firing up with the cover drives, and timing the ball with precision. Unfortunately he was short changed by the umpire and he had to depart for only 22. Then went in Jeff, to meet his captain at the crease. Needing only 50 to win, it began to look like a batting collapse. And then out of nowhere, Jeff just took the game to the opposition. And launching the attack bowler for 21 runs, 2x 6s and 2x4s. He began to deal with 6's, hitting 5 in total and 2x4's. The Captain just supported him all the way. The oppposition were nit ready for this type of Explosion. Man of the match clearly goes to the Vice Captain 3 for 15 and then 40 not out. Great knock to watch.
